WMN Meaning: situated meaning

Trigger words: effective

Indicator sentences: You'll have to define "effective" for me and give me a specific example or two, but I suspect that your question misses the point.

Negotiation parts: Many forms of abuse, manipulation, and deception might be described as "effective," depending on what your goal is and whether or not you're a psychopath. Effective, as in, conducive towards achieving a desired result. I'll use two examples just for clarity: "Be assertive" as the positive one, and "Treat women like children" as the negative. That doesn't sound like a very effective way to form the basis of a healthy and fulfilling relationship with another human being.
